The Filanda is a large stone-faced house of about 450 sq.m. that until 1850 was utilized for the production of natural silk. It has undergone a careful restructuring with much attention given to detail. On the ground floor there is a large hall with a stone fireplace used for dinners, receptions, seminars and other events. On the first floor there are three luxurious apartments which can accommodate up to14 guests. Outside there is a large private garden where in the summer it is possible to dine and organize events while enjoying the splendid view of Barga.
On the first floor there are three spacious apartments (Gelsomino, Camelia and Magnolia), refurbished with style and attention to detail. Two of the apartments (Magnolia and Camelia) have two bedrooms with bathrooms en suite (one with tub and one with shower). The apartment Gelsomino is larger than the other two having three bedrooms and a very spacious kitchen-living area. The apartments have a splendid view over the medieval town of Barga, which appears as a magical town in the evenings when the many small lights are switched on. Outside there is a large private garden with a barbeque area and a lovely infinity pool.
