I CEDRI
“I Cedri” is located in Albiano, a lovely hamlet near the town of Barga, situated between the Lucca plane and the mountains of the Garfagnana, one of the greenest and most thriving areas of Tuscany.
The residence is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards which extend over an area of 16 hectares. Located at the centre of the estate is Villa Mordini, built in 1711, but its foundation dates back to even older origins.
“I Cedri” is a farm holiday complex made up of various rural homes, entirely restructured with dedication and care.
THE RESIDENCES
In addition to Villa Mordini, the estate is composed of various rural structures, completely restored with great care using traditional Tuscan materials: stone, chestnut wood and handmade terra cotta tiles.
The “Filanda” is a large stone faced house of about 450 sq.m. that until 1850 was utilised for the production of natural silk and it has been completely restored with the utmost care and attention to detail.
The “Casa del Rosso” is a stone-faced villa of about 130 sq.m. stylishly restored and having all the necessary comforts. It has three bedrooms (6+1 sleeping accommodations).
The “Capanna del Rosso” is an old stone-faced barn elegantly restructured of about 80 sq.m. It has a large bedroom with a living room and fireplace (2+1 sleeping accommodations).
CEREMONIES AND EVENTS
I Cedri is the perfect location for receptions and ceremonies. It is the ideal place to celebrate anniversaries, communions, confirmations, baptisms, weddings, but also suitable for company meetings and any other special event. To please the various requests of the clients, the utmost attention to detail is given during the organisation and preparation of the event.
The green valley and the colours of the countryside provide the perfect frame for every event. All this accompanied by a picturesque and elegant atmosphere, but at the same time in a relaxed and familiar setting.
WINE AND VINEYARDS
I Cedri produces "Tenuta Mordini", a Tuscan IGT (Protected Geographical Indication) red wine. The vineyard is located on a terraced land of about 4 hectares and rises at an altitude of 360 mt. above sea level.
